so, I got to thinking today about life, as you do, and whilst taking a break and watching TV, they reminded me of an old hate.

Unfortunately, because they are a bunch of plodders and I don’t want to risk getting in trouble over it. However, I will say something briefly.

Destiny Church in NZ is incredibly worrying. They’re brainwashing the public and wanting us to return to the 50’s or 60’s, where homosexuals were instituted.

Why should homosexuals be persecuted? What’s wrong with a man loving a man? A woman loving a woman? People who are against it fall into one of many catagories. There are the ones who disagree with it because their religion preaches against it. There are those who think it’s alright for women to have sex with each other so long as it is being filmed and sold for the entertainment of men, or women who wish to do the same. There are those who are not religious, and it is just against their personal beliefs, those who are afraid of them… the list goes on. I’ve never, in my life, understood why. Why is it that a gay man can’t marry his ‘life-partner’ the same way in which a woman and man can? Why can the law or society not recognise the relationship of a man and woman in the same way that it can acknowledge a relationship of a few days or less?

What makes the two relationships [hetero and homosexual] different? There is still love, still a bond between the couple. The ONLY difference is the stereotypes and physicality. Will there be a day when a gay couple can kiss and hold each others hands in public without at least one cry of disgust? Where they can live without the fear of being persecuted by employers, tenants, hotel owners, restaurant owners, ANYONE? This is bullshit that people are persecuted for being different to the norm.

Destiny Church accuses homosexuals of being sheep, well. We don’t have a leader, but Destiny, you have yours.

In other news, the person copying my diary has stopped so that’s good. It’s quarter to 1 in the morning, so I’m going to head off to bed. I’m hoping you are all well.
