wow ten years of opendiary!

It was the year 2001 that I moved to washington from my home town of Kodiak Island in Alaska, and that is when my sister told me about freeopendiary.com , a site where I could keep my diary entries online like she did! Of course I checked it out and emediately loved it. I created a diary page for myself and so it began. This diary pretty much is a record of my entire life living in washington from start to present.

Writing in here has helped relieve my stress, solve problems, and clear my head.  Opendiary even was responsible for my sister finding her husband! He was the first person to leave a random comment on her very first entry, and thats how they met!  It’s been over 2 years since their wedding day and they are as happy as ever ^_^

 I love how it’s so easy on here for me to be able to go back and read my old entries as often as I like. If I had written everything in regular diaries it would have been almost impossible to find a certain entry! I’d be thumbing through pages and pages.

It’s interesting to look and see what you were up to a few years before on the same day, just to see how much you have changed. I hope this site never goes away! I really don’t know what i’d do without it! Well yes I do, I’d have to find another like it or go back to paper….but hopefully that won’t have to happen haha.
