the wedding

lots to write about. so starting last wednesday all the family started to arrive. first it was rachel, kimo, and the best man wakine. then on thursday it was kimos best woman friend or whatever brittney and kimos family and kimos other best man and all of our family which included our grandparents, aunts, uncles, and one of the cousins. yea, our house was packed. i mean we had hotel rooms for kimos family but they were still there at our house the majority of the time. friday was the rehearsal wedding which only took like an hour. sat, the wedding, the girls and i had to get up at 7am to get our hair done. gosh i was tired. but for some miracle, i actually looked good! i had a good face day for the wedding yay! our hair was done just in time also. we left for mccormick woods and arrived at 10. emediatley we went into the bathroom with our dresses and shoes and got ourselves ready! all we did before was get up and go get our hair done in our pjs. i didnt even wear a bra! lol and i had to go into fred meyers like that with no makeup because i forgot that i needed a throw away camera. oops dont have time to finish this.

ok so im back. any who the dresses looked great on all of us and we each had our own flower wands which were made  by glueing pedals on this platform thingy making a giant rose! since the wedding was out on the golf course at the gazebo we all walked out there while rachel was driven on the golf cart (she had a really heavy dress!) and the wedding began! anna and nolan (the flower girl and ring bearer) were soooo cute! anna had this little white dress with a red sash and a flower wreath for her hair! and nolan was in a cute little tux! it was funny how rachel (my  sister the bride) had to hide behind a tree the entire time we walked down lol. during the nuptials i was half tearing up and half crying because  for one, it was my sister getting married so of course i would tear up, and two, there were bugs crawling in rachels dress and hornets were swarming around us brides maids because  of our flower wands! also one of the floral arrangements fell during the ceremony lol. all in all it was beautiful. i was kinda dissapointed when we finally made it to the reception area because all of the fruit, cheese and orderves were eaten! grrr….at least i got dinner….i had been thinking about what i would say for my toast  but no matter how hard i tried i could not come up with anything! so i knew i had to wing it. well…winging it was not such a bad idea because then it came straight from my heart, and im already witty anyway so i threw in a few funnys here and there. haha, everyone was telling me how good my toast was when they had no idea…lol
so yea, now rachel and kimo are gone driving down to 29 palms, with rachels cat niko (poor cat) i dont think it will really sink in that shes gone until a lot of time has passed i think…rachels presence is really strong and so it still kinda lingers. well not much more to say.
