sunshine on my shoulder makes me happy ^_^

how i love that song from john denver. sigh. ill never forget the day i bought his cd because it was the same day he died… 🙁

well today was bright and sunny. i was going to wake up at ten but SOMEBODY (my friend jonathan) woke me up earlier by textin me and i couldnt get back to sleep.  😛 lol oh wells.

i went to my dentist apointment at 10:30, went back home, took a shower, took care of all the animals (since my mom is gone) and then got ready to head for the gym.

i had a good workout. i decided instead of going on the bike for 15 minutes, getting on the weight machines, and then doing 15 more minutes, that id just go straight to the machines and then do a half hour on the bike. i dunno just seems easier that way and i feel like i get more of a workout if i dont take a break on the bike and just do the entire half hour.

after going home and showering and eating, i contacted a few people to see what they were up to but everyone was either working or busy or i couldnt get ahold of them, so finally i made up my mind to take beau for a walk at manchester state park! there was no way in hell i was going to stay in today.

so i went and i was very glad i took beau with me because as soon as i arrived this car pulled up next to mine full of a bunch of white and mexican guys who were starrin at me and whistling. if they had seen me go into the woods by myself that would not have been good! i knew i was safe though, beau would tear anyone to shreds who i didnt trust. dogs just know these things.

as we were walking i happened apon a really cute guy who was by himself taking pictures! we chatted a bit and i found out hes from gig harbor and it was his first time at the park! cool guy. but yea i never even learned his name. just kept walking. i wasnt interested in persuing anything, i just thought he was attractive 🙂 on the way back down the trail i heard a rustling noise and suddenly two little chipmunks came out of the bushes, one chasing the other, and they scurried up a nearby tree! i couldn’t believe it! the last time i saw a chipmunk was 3 summers ago in ellensburg! they were sooo cute! i watched as they played, wrestling and jumping after eachother from branch to branch. i love animals 🙂

on the way home i got myself a foot long steak sandwich from subway. i wonder how long this 5 dollar foot long thing is going to last? i love it!  any who got home, ate, pondered on doing laundry, decided to put it off, and then pondered on kiyacking but i could see that it was already getting dark, and i knew there would be too many bugs out eating me alive at this point. which reminds me i need to get that off spray soon. so i settled with burning a new mix cd. which turned into hours of looking at lyrics and checking out new bands and listening to songs on myspace. i know i just changed my song not long ago but i found this song called Falling In Love At a Coffee Shop by Landon Pigg and it just caught me! the guitar, the rythym, his smooth voice, how it sounded as if the emotion was real, as if he had written it for someone. *shrugs* maybe he did who knows, but i loved it , and so i put it on my myspace.

that song was actually the inspiration for the type of cd i was going to burn! relaxing music that just, touched me for one reason or another. whether it was the sound , the beat, the lyrics, who knows. so i picked out a bunch of my faveorites from my music library. i cant wait to listen to it in the car tomorrow!

lesee whats tomorrow…..the gym, call the vet to make an apointment, take kyran to the post office, work. hopefully i get off work by 9 or so. i dont see why i shouldnt, its only a rehearsal dinner.

saturday should be fun though! i get to work another wedding! alrighty well i guess im off to bed.
