omg were here and i feel like shit!
lol yea leaving on a 6:05am plane to go to cali sucks, but when you are getting as good a deal as megan and i got from orbitz for a hotel/flight package, you take what you can get! it was megans first airplane flight and to our dismay, a completely full one that had her sitting by herself way up front and me sittin in the last row! i didnt want megan to be by herself and she was so nervous she already felt like crying! after a lot of negotiating we finally found someone who would be willing to take my middle seat to let me sit with megan. however the bitchy flight attendant (who obviously had taken a disliking to us for some reason ) was like " excuse me sir, before you move, you DO realize that you are taking a CENTER seat?" the man looked at her funny and was like "uh yes i completle yunderstand" GOD what a bitch! the takeoff wasnt as bad as megan thought it would be and she quickly relaxed. soon she was looking out the window at the miniature scenes below us. i was happy to be sharing this experience with her ^_^
after we landed, got our luggage, and finally made it to the hotel, we were exhausted! it was 9:30 am and all we wanted to do was sleep! after we ate breakfast of course. we were very pleasantly surprised with our hotel room too! i mean , for less than 40 bucks a night, we got an outdoor private room with a garden path, lots of little samples such as lotions, serums, shower gels, gum, toothpastes etc, a full kitchen with freezer and fridge, a wardrorobe and dresser, cable, desk, nice bathroom. it was just lovely ^_^ and right down from us was the outdoor pool and jacoozi (yea i know thats not how you spell it) and work out room!
then we found out that i-hop and a bunch of other restauraunts (along with a rite-aid and kmart and other stores) was just a 5 minute walk from the hotel! ah we were in heaven! and only 7 mins from disneyland taking the local buses! this was going to be a great trip! disneyland was the next day though and that night we were going to medieval times!
so after breakfast we slept till around 3:30 and then left around 4:45. it was an hour till the dinner started but to pass the time we took pictures with the knights and bought some souveniers! the show was definitely for kids, nothing spectacular but enjoyable enough and definitely fun! we had to eat with our fingers and we were seated in the front row! i dont feel like going into detail but pretty much everyone was seated in sections by the color crown you were wearing (you get one when you first arrive) and that is the color knight that represented you in the jousting! so we had our little flags that we waved and it was fun.
i wil post pictures when i can!
