my weekend plus today!

so i left saturday morning to meet up with my family for my cousin jennifers wedding! rachel and i went to jens to help out making table place cards. each table had the name of a tree and it was our responsibility to find a pretty picture of those certain tree s and make cards out of them. our tree was the plum tree! so after those were done my parents came to get us because our family was going out to dinner!

it was so nice to be all together again in less than a year ^_^ we had just had a family reunion for my grandparents 50th anniversary last year in october. and now all of my aunts and uncles and cousins and second cousins and my grandfather were all there! also i was very surprised to see my cousin seth! i had not seen him since i was 13 years old so it was very nice to spend some time with him! he told me he was dating a professional soccer player who has her own shoe line! i was like dang! lol

sunday was the wedding and i was very angry because i started my period….and it…was…bad. i barely got any sleep that night because of cramps, i was bloated, breaking out all over, and just feeling like shit. so my lovely  sister whom i adore, told me to get in a hot bath while she went to get my mom to go to the store and pick up what i needed. she even left me some chocolates on the side of the tub for me ^_^ lindor ones (which are some of my faveorite!) awe i love her.

by the time we got to the wedding i was feeling much better but still was not my perky self. i felt like i had very  little energy. oh yea and to top things off i was looking down while i was walking to my seat because i did not want to trip in the grass, and i walked straight into one of the huge shading umbrellas that were put up. i mean my head hit the edg of it and i almost fell over! EVERYONE SAW lol it was sooo embarrassing! i had a red mark on my cheak bone haha. *sigh*

the ceremony was just…soooooo beautiful. in every way ^_^ it was like the ideal ceremony ^_^ and the words jen and kevin wrote for the rabi to preach were so romantic and perfect and oh i just got so emotional! im sure there was not a single dry eye in the seats. and jens dress was gorgeous! it was cream colored with a beautiful train and little beaded jewels on the torso. now jen has always been beautiful but today she was just stunning! her skin glowed, her hair was perfect, her makeup was perfect, it was everything that was her, but perfected ^_^ and it made me smile to see how happy she was. i just thought "thats how i want to look when i get married"

and the place where they got married? oh my lord! it was a huge old colonial mansion from the t 1800’s that was still completely furnished with all of the antique furniture, silverware, clothing, candlesticks, everything! and you could explore it all! my sister took a picture of my cousin andrew and i sitting at one of the tables while im holding a teacup , he’s wearing this old fancy jacket and hat, and we look as if we are having a convorsation of some sort lol its pretty neat! such an awesome place!

that night andrew, matt, rachel and i went to see tropic thunder WHICH WAS HILARIOUS! i cant say anything or else ill give stuff away but yea we loved it ^_^ then we all swam in the pool and played marco polo haha. i think i was the worse at catching people.

monday morning we got up at 6:30 to leave because it was a 40 minute drive to the airport  and our flight was at 10:30 😛

it was too bad we did not get to stay longer and do more while we were in cali but oh wells. i needed to get back to work. unfortunately today i thought i’d be working my waitressing job but it looks like im only working tomorrow, thursday and friday night. i dont work at mccormick all week but i get my schedule tomorrow and im sure i will probably be working this weekend. *shrugs*

this morning rachel, liz, my mom and i went to breakfast together at the pancake house where i had the most delicious swedish pancakes! i wish i could make them like the restaurants do! gar! they wont tell me their recipe 😛 hm…this calls for a secret mission…. eh hem any who

after breakfast (well lunch because it was already almost 2) i got my work schedule for the bowling alley and for mccormick woods and then headed back to my house. i said goodbye to liz and started gettin gready for the gym. went to the gym, had a good workout, and then when i got home i thought
"hmmm what should we do tonight….omg! i wonder if people are available to play ultimate frisbee?!"
and so i called and texted everyone i could to try and get enough people to play! which i finally did ^_^ i was a little surprised and sooo happy that liz, ali, and rachel decided to play as well! it ended up being us 4, jon, joe, sean, his sister shyla, a guy named chris, and my friend jimbob! (jimmy) and we had sooo much fun! i was glad to see that my friends and my sister were getting really into it and playing well for being newbies! 🙂 we were all exhausted by the end of 2 short games and decided to play again sometime next week. i told them id contact them all and i also posted a bulletin on myspace to see if we could get more people next time! ahh i love ultimate! such a fun game and such a good workout! *phew*

alrighty well im going to let my sister on so she can e-mail her hubby ^_^ today is their 2 year wedding anniversary! well technically its june 2nd because that is when they had their wedding, but they were married officially today ^_^ congrats to them! 😀

wow i cant believe my little sis has already been married that long….wow
