it was a nice sunday ^_^

i stayed up late last night reading and so i set my alarm to 10:00am, but the sunshine woke me up around 8:45. funny, i remember the days i used to sleep in till noon or even 1 or later! and now it seems im getting up earlier and earlier these days feeling like i have more energy! its probably because ive been working out, thats the only conclusion i can come too. ive felt more energized, more relaxed, less stressed, happier. yea its definitely the working out.

i was showered and ready for the day by 10:30! now thats a record. those who know me would be gasping in shock if i told them that haha. naw they probably wouldnt believe it. I texted mal to see if the wanted to go swimming at the lake but she had something to do at her mothers house that day. i didnt ask megan to hang because i remembered that she was at her grandmas today but i did text her to see if she wanted to go to the drive in later on. she texted me sayin that she’d still be at her grandmas and wouldnt be able to go out today. 

It was fine because Julie and I had plans , it was just that she wouldn’t be done with whatever she was doing until after 3:30 and I wanted go go out earlier. *shrugs* oh wells. 

I decided to be girly today and wear a dress! It was just last year that i started wearing them. I don’t know. A sudden urge to be more sexy? more feminine? It was a white halter summer dress with a blue and red floral pattern. the length went about down to the knees, which is a comfortable length for me.

since julie and i were heading to the beach i wore a blue bikini underneath to go with the dress, and my gold flip flops. i felt…pretty ^_^ its nice to get dressed up sometimes for no apparent reason! kinda like a treat to my self esteem!  I picked up Julie and we went to the southworth beach to just chill and relax. Its funny, im very friendly but its not too often that I put out the effort to become close with anyone new because I have my group of close friends here already and we are pretty tight knit, but once in a while I meet someone that I am just drawn to! Julie is one of those people!
 She has this beautiful aura about her that just makes you feel like you could do or say anything and she would not judge! That is the first thing I noticed about her when we started working together in banquets. shes a genuinely kind person altogether. a complete positive influence ^_^ shes the type of person that treats people,  the same way that i would treat people, and maybe thats why I felt I actually wanted to be friends with her ^_^

when she listens to me she actually listens and actually cares about what im saying. shes a good friend and im glad shes around. so anyways we sat and talked. I helped her out with a few issues going on in her life right now. shes having a tough time but she will pull through. shes surprisingly way stronger than i am emotionally! at least it seems that way.

after the beach we headed over to hiro sushi because SHE HAD NEVER HAD SUSHI BEFORE! I couldnt believe it! so i ordered us the spider roll and the white rainbow roll to split. I also ordered the seaweed salad! mm mmm good! she wasnt quite fond of the seaweed salad but she seemed to like the sushi! I told her that next time we are going to go out for thai because SHES NEVER HAD THAI FOOD! *sigh* so weird lol.

then i remembered my plans to go to a movie with shawn and we quickly left so i could go home and clean myself up. i hadn’t seen shawn in a while so i was glad when he texted me last week to make plans ^_^ i miss him! him and chris page, and vanwack, and john and jeff and everyone. those were the days, those were the days.

I told sean earlier that i would meet him at the theatre but he insisted on picking me up because he had something to show me. i got curious so i agreed. when he arrived i was surprised to see him pull up in a brand spankin new honda civic! a really nice blue one! "WOW!" i said. "OMG SHAWN!" i am so proud of him, his first new car. our family didnt get a new car till my junior year of highschool!

shawn works soooo hard and its about time he awarded himself with something nice ^_^

so we went to see narnia prince caspian and it was really good! funny, sad, and surprising. i really enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing the next one! afterwards i didnt feel like letting shawn go home right away. it felt like ages since we had talked and so i reccomended we go and talk out on the trampoline.

shawn is so great. really nice guy, and its easy to talk to him! he is going to make some girl very happy one of these days ^_^  i am really glad to have him as a friend ^_^

he left around 10:45 and i went inside to eat a piece of alis strawberry rhubarb pie that she made for her and my brothers one year anniversary. YUM

yes they have been together now for over a year! i couldnt believe it when she told me! has the time gone by that fast? it makes me happy to see them happy together. one of my best friends and my brother. yes it was weird at first, but ive grown accustom to it now. I just dont like seeing them all mushy in front of me though lol. jonah doesnt care about public displays of affection where im the total opposite. we are twins and it doesnt even seem that way lol. alright out. lata
