im a pro! WHAT!
ok heres my horoscopes for yesterday and today.
yesterday:
It’s like you’re just bursting with electrolytes. You’ve got so much pizzazz, so much sparkle! There are so many (but not too many!) essential minerals running through your body! You could well get a whole lot done, today.
today:Go ahead and sing it. Yep, at the top of your lungs! Sing out loud, sing out proud! You are getting — ‘Orrrrrrrganiiiiized! Orrrrrrrrganized! Organized! Organized!’ Woo-hoo! Encore!
my singles love horoscope for yesterday and today!
yesterday:
Make someone around you feel special today. An apple on their desk at work might just make them feel like they’re the teacher’s favorite pet, even though you’re not school kids anymore.
today
You’re trying to figure out how to do everything yourself. Time to call in the troops. It doesn’t mean you’re not capable, but why burden yourself unnecessarily?
ok, well here it goes. yesterday morning i was awoken by my younger sister telling me i had an important phone call from our family friends the morrisons. i had no idea why they would be calling so early but i went downstairs to get it (since it was on the main phone). mrs morrison (beth) said that her husband (matt) had organized a meeting with all hte legislative representatives from alaska, canada, montana, idaho, oregon, and here (washington) to get together to decide things as a whole. the company is called pnwer (pacific northwest something or other) and they get together every year. anyway ill get to the point. he wanted me to sing the national anthem and the canadadian anthem as well! i was sooooo surprised and so happy to ablige! wow! id be singing for all of those important people! ill be sitting at the same tables as all of those people eating breakfast! ahhh! so they asked me to come into seattle that evening (last night) to stay in a hotel room they had for me so i could sing the next morning at 8:00am! i was so psyched! so yea i went and it was the first time i ever had my own room so i felt so grown up! i thought heck, ill walk around naked and dance, then when i went to go pee i was about to close the door but i thought, hello! theres no one here! so i left it open haha, it felt nice to have my own hotel room. any who i woke up around 6:45 the next morning andd was at the grand ballroom by 7:20 to check mics and make sure the sound system was ok and up and running fine. i had downloaded the canada anthem instrumental music on a cd and gave it to them earlier. i had spent earlier learning and memorizing the canada anthem as well haha. then i went and got some warm green tea and went into the womens restroom to warm up my vocal chords. the ladies in there really liked it haha. im glad they didnt think i was weird. even if they did i wouldnt have cared because i had to get ready for my job. by the way, this hotel was sooo nice. the nicest ive ever seen! outside there are guys who park your car for you with fancy outfits, and everyhwere there are chefs and butlers and you name it! the lounge is huge and decorated expensively in all sorts of cushions and tables and clothes and chandeleers. breakfast in the ballroom was something you see on television. when they serve you something that you have no idea waht it is haha cus its so expensive! it was eggs benedict cooked in a peculiar way, along with a seasoned tomato, and hash browns. the food itself was a piece of art! i would have taken a picture of it but that would have been absurd. i usually dont ever like eating eggs, only in cookie dough, but these were the best tasting eggs i ever had! i ate both of them! i wish my mom could cook eggs like that (no offence mom). then the head table came in and a guy playing the bag pipes led them! it was awesome! then….dun da da dun! i was called up to the stand! he introduced me and then i walked up to the mic. i thought that i would probably become shaky and nervous and lose control, i was so worried, but for some reason i wasnt! i was so sure of myself! i stood proud, opened my mouth, and let the songs come out. the morrisons werent sure if i could keep everyones attention singing the national anthem acapella with no music, but everyones eyes were on me and there was not a peep in the room of more than 200 people. the morrisons also thought that the canadians (being very proud of their home) would sing along to their anthem, but not a peep! everyone listened intently and i was kind of relieved after getting off the stage to get away from all of it haha there was so much poured on me while i was up there! the attention i got afterwards was rather nice though! all through the day i got compliments. the ones that meant the most were " ive never heard anyone else sing those two anthems better than you did" and another woman went on and on almost to tears about how she loved my voice and knew id be famous someday. it really meant a lot. i like it when my voice touches peoples hearts. thats why i sing. if i didnt have an audience or someone to give my song too, i probably wouldnt sing much at all. when you have a gift you want to give it to the world. at least you feel like it. and i was so happy the morrisons asked me to do this. i thanked them over and over. sadly, the governor of washington was caught in traffic and couldnt make it in time to hear me. but everyone else did! i was sitting at the table wiht the senator of idaho, some representatives of canada, and some other legislative ppl ( i dont know where they were from) but it was nice. i decided to stay for most of the day to get a glimpse of what it might be like to be a legislative aid. there were many interns that i was an aid to and observed. there were so many things on their lists they had to do! phone calls, signs, luncheon setups, name tags, tickets, papers, etc! i was doing a lot of copying, sorting, organizing, and setting up. i stayed long enough to know that that is not something i would like to do in the future haha. around 5 beth morrison took me to the ferry. i thanked her again ( i couldnt thank matt because he was in a meeting) and she told me that a check was coming to me in the mail!. soooo once i get paid, ill be a professional! awesome! YAYA! one more step to success! i love it when doors open for me ^_^. when doors open you gotta step through because you never know when they will open again. or if the same door might open again it would shut in your face. but yea theres nothing like being on stage. i love it, always will.
