i am so jealous!

while my parents were in Hawaii they got to do something that I have always dreamed of ever since I was a child, watching nature shows on discovery channel. SWIM WITH WILD MANTA RAYS AND DOLPHINS!  The way they explained it sounded like a dream! In order to really understand even a little bit of of what their experience was like, I had to watch their dvd of it! I was dumbfounded….moved…..in awe of it all. The dolphins were so close to them playing, jumping and whistling…everything looked so blue and clear and alien like! For the manta rays my parents went snorkeling at NIGHT when the water was pitch black! you see, the best way to get the manta rays to come is to feed them krill…and krill are attracted to light, so divers and snorkelers come at night to shine lights all around! The manta rays are so used to this happening that they know exactly where and when to come, so there is always a show ^_^

My parents told me that these manta rays span about 12 feet across! THATS HUGE! Unfortunately I can not put their dvd on the computer, but I have found other videos a lot like it on youtube! Here is one of the dolphins and one of the manta rays! <–my fave!

I really hope to do this someday ^_^ wow…
