Give and you shall receive

Every day is a good day, but today was extra good. 🙂 The universe decided to shower me with gifts!

On my first flight I got to talking about rocks and crystals with one of my passengers. He just happened to have a collection of his with him and offered to show them to me. I was admiring two unique pieces of tigers eye when he said “keep them they are yours!” I asked if he was sure and he said “yes I just know it!” I couldn’t believe a complete stranger just gave me two beautiful and unique pieces from his collection!

On my next flight I was taking food and drink orders ( I was working first class ) and one of the gentleman in row 4 asked me if he could borrow my pen for a second. I said sure and he took out a Starbucks cup sleeve and wrote $20.00 on it, then pulled a card out of his pocket and gave them both to me saying “I didn’t have a card holder so this will have to do. Merry early Christmas!” I was so surprised and said “Oh my goodness! This is so sweet! Do you happen to work for the airlines?” The man replied “No, but I fly every week and I see how hard you all work so I wanted to do something nice for you!” I thanked him and told him I would make sure to use some of it to share with my crew members.

After the flight I took my phone off airplane mode and got a message from my sister-in-law saying that she and my brother wanted to get me an early birthday gift so they went ahead and bought me a ticket to the symphony. It’s not just any symphony though, it’s the music from Miyazaki’s studio ghibli films! 😱🤩 I have always wanted to go! I have the best family ever and am beyond excited!

Today I am just feeling so loved! Like I have a big warm blanket wrapped around me. :-)
