It feels crazy to be writing in here again.  Looking back I think the last time I wrote in here was early 2011 (crazy considering I started this in October 1999).  I had to do a lot of emailing back & forth with the OD support team to get them to restore this as it was actually archived.  It’s amazing though, they restored every entry and every note.  I’m pretty sure the entries are dated a day prior to the date that I actually posted them but I’m not going to split hairs about it.

I’ve been looking around and feel a little bummed that pretty much everyone I used to know on here is no longer here (not surprising after 8 years).  It’s also too bad they changed the format now… it’s more simplistic (no table of contents, just blank text) and there’s no ability to customize it so very little room for creativity in the visual sense.  Oh well… what can you do.

So not sure how much of a point it is to update everything that’s gone on in my life since 2011 as none of my readers from back then are around now.  Anyone, I’m not sure if I’ll actually keep writing in here after this.  I’ve been kicking around the idea for a few days and in the end figured why the hell not.

I have been reading most of the entries I wrote in the past… and most of the notes.  It’s been bittersweet to do so as I’ve laughed a lot and cried a bit.  It’s definitely brought a lot of regrets to the forefront of my mind which is probably not a good thing.  But it’s also taught me a lot about myself and how I’ve grown over the space of nearly 20 years (great, now I feel old).

Anyway, time to wrap this up as it’s late and I have to get up to take my daughter to swimming lessons in the morning and lots of cleaning and packing to do after that.
