ATTN: Anon Note Leaver

I finally finished all the house cleaning that I set out to do today. You gotta love doing a bunch of house cleaning on your day off, right?

So.. that person that’s leaving these unsigned notes telling me to write in here is starting to annoy me. It bothers me b/c, for obvious reasons, there’s people in my life that I don’t want reading this thing… & I’ve been writing in here for far too long to just give up the whole thing. So I’ve decided what I’m going to do. This is my last entry that is going to be public for quite a while. From now all, all my entries will be "Friends Only". Now, if this person wants to leave me a note in this entry & fess up who they are. I probably won’t even be mad when I find out who it is. So, if you want to read what I write in here so bad, you’ll tell me who you are to avoid this whole "friends only" fiasco.

I got paid yesterday. I had 99 hours on this paycheck. Sadly, I only got 3 hours of over-time. I could have gotten more but yeah, as much as I love the money, I gotta listen to my body when it’s had enough.

Alicia & Lee pulled one over on me. A while back, they had set up this whole deal that he would make this stained glass dragonfly for her & she would pay him. She didn’t know about colors & everything so I helped her out w/it. Finally, it came the other day. Lee kept teasing me & saying that she had something for me, but wouldn’t tell me what it was. Of course, I asked Alicia what he was talking about, & she acted like she didn’t know. I doubted at first, but eventually started to believe that she had no idea what was going on.

Alicia & I hung out on Wednesday & she hid it in a t-shirt & had her daughter, Hailey, hand it to me. I was floored w/how large & beautiful it was. I was holding it up by the chain & saying, "Not sure how you’re going to hang this up." She looks at me & says, "It’s yours." My jaw hit the floor. I couldn’t believe it. I guess she wanted to give it to me for my birthday (June 15th), but it took a while. I’m still trying to figure out where to hang it. For now, it is leaned up against a bunch of candles on my bookshelf. I love my friends, damn it. *smiles*

Well, I’m headed off to go check out Harshstar at the Nestor pretty quick here. They’re a video game music cover band. Yeah, how cool does that sound? I don’t play that many video games, but it still sounds cool as fuck. My friend, Dan, is in the band. Every other time he’s invited me to come to one of their shows, I’ve been working. So I’m pretty psyched. Shaun’s coming & I’m meeting up w/Josh O. there too. May even buy a t-shirt.

Time to get ready for that b/c the show starts in 20 minutes.
