Hearts are so odd

We went to the cardiologist on Thursday. It was relatively decent appointment. The doctor is happy that his pressure is coming up, heart rate is a little high which concerning. We see the heart failure specialist this Thursday. At the end of August we will have another EKG to check his EF score. Anything under 35% will result in him getting a defibrillator.  His EF after the heart attack was 20%. On the plus side- the LVAD is off the table. Which ups his life expectancy. Now we are looking at 3-7 years instead of 13 months.

Spent the day with my husband today- the kids went with my in-laws. It was nice just the two of us. We went to lunch and then the range. I shot the AR for the first time. It was different- a lot bigger than my 380, and more intimidating. But I did it and did really well on both the rifle and pistol. We tried out the new range- I really like it 🙂 Very friendly people, clean place, knowledgeable.

Nothing exciting for this week- just work and appointments for my dad. I have a splitting headache from being out in the sun.
