vitamin critters

hey, am still having a blast down at my daughters…learning something new daily. Today my lesson has been about vitamins. My wonderful young grandkids were taking their vitamins this morning when I noticed they are all animal shaped ones. NOW, I KNOW I AM A COMPLETE DINOSAUR BUT COULDN’T BELIEVE MY EYES !!

Have just been bleating to Arbi how some of us have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century! I have been considering all that I am learning lately about new stuff. I mean, I have only been computer literate just over a year and still only do basics, but its something two years ago I never would have dreamed I would get hooked into.I still cannot properly operate a vcr, but then everyone else can use a dvd !!! (and I don’t even own a tv, the one I use is borrowed). I hate answerphpones but just bought one at a garage sale last weekend…that will be fun to try and set up. A techno kid I am NOT!!! Also for years I have rejected the concept of microwave ovens…I cannot accept the thought of irradiated food. However a few weeks ago someone gave me one which I am VERY slowly starting to use on occasion, even if it is just to heat pies!! Was so amused the other day when down here at daughters she cooked popcorn in hers. I watched through the glass window as the bag got bigger and bigger, and was laughing myself silly! I had previously visualised in my dinosaur head, little corn bits flying all around inside loose and thinking what a mess they would make!!! heheh…gee, am I for real?? My grandkids are totally tickle with my strange understanding of life, as this is all second nature to them. I wonder what they REALLY think of my long plaited hair and stripey socks!!!!(geriatric hippy that I am!!)

Oh well, I head home in two days…maybe its time to stretch my wings ready for the flight…..then again maybe the plane would be less tiring and quicker!! heheh
