 Leaving the US for a year – this is my goodbye poem I left for my girlfriend, at the end of a long note.

Thinking of you.

I will be thinking of you
Of those afternoons
in sunshine
Spent thinking of nothing
but the magic of you

aration is but a temporary
shift
A note in a composition
made of the rest of
our lives
 
A short paragraph
in the book that is
our story.

and smile
