The Long Way Down | Nick Hornby

I haven’t gotten all that far into this one. I’m feeling the urge to read something with achingly elegant prose just ’cause I’m fiending for some beautiful language these days. And a book centered around suicide isn’t really doing it for me right now.

a drive of adequate distance for blasting a few choice tunes

learning to find the awesomeness in a rather unpleasant situation – which is something I’m working on reminding myself of until it becomes the consistent view here. but, hey, seeing it is definitely an excellent start.
