see her smile and say, ‘come on’

So, it is admittedly, and perhaps even largely, my having slipped out of the groove of regular updates.
But it is also, and quite significantly, this:
By the time I’m done, I will have knitted this hat about two-and-a-half times. It is the same pattern, the same needles and the same kind of yarn I’ve knitted many times over. But this time it is being all weird with the sizing. Super weird. That is nearly an entire skein of yarn on my head! Which should’ve been a good indicator it was going to be too friggin’ huge, even though I’d reduced it already. Anyway…
With a self-imposed deadline of having this finished before I leave for Fort Worth in July (the 3rd, to be more specific), and another hat to knit by that time, as well (a Hello Kitty hat!), I’ve been spending a good deal of time with the needles and the yarn and a lot less with the words and the writing.
The Cache is a bit backlogged in the wake of this. As is my being up to date with you most lovely people. Hopefully I will correct this soon. Sorry for drifting out of the loop here for awhile.
Lots o’ love to you, lovelies!

Anything that makes you look that adorable is reason enough to keep you away from here!

I love this picture.

you could sell it to someone with an abnormally large head? Or make a bunch more and start a fashion craze for oversized hats… in fact, I think that already happened a bit in the 90s so it’s not completely impossible!

I do! I do like your hat!
