I seem to be on a grey and lavender/purple kick. again. still. one of those.

current favorite drink
coffee. hot tea is making a more regular appearance. I’ve been in a bit of a bourbon/whiskey/rye mood these days, though I haven’t been indulging often.

I’m wearing a sleeveless light blue & navy striped dress because it is unseasonably warm out

I’m pretty sure I failed to put on any perfume today. so, uh, Batiste dry shampoo in "Blush"

current wish list
-to not be simultaneously PMSing and some sort of sick – dude, the stress crying. so, so annoying.
-to get the hat I’ve tried to start twice started without a mysterious twist in it.
-to figure out what to do with all the buttermilk I bought for turkey brining, that I don’t need for this task now since I went with a dry brine as there was none of the wet brine to be had when I went to the store.

honestly, while I’m okay with some of Miguel’s tunes, he skeeves me out a little on occasion. however, I’m totally digging on this song.

current anticipation
my KnitPicks order! I’m still waiting for it to ship, but it contains interchangeable knitting needles, yarn for a sweater and some other yarn that was too pretty to not put in my basket!

current triumph
finally procuring yarn for a sweater? it’s not here yet. but I’m kind of stoked to be tackling my first "serious" knitting project in the near future.

current indulgence
it seems to be sock yarn. I’ve got a wee collection going. and no plans to make socks with it so far. we’ll see how that goes. (I’ve still never made socks, despite knitting for several years now.)
