The whole thing makes me so angry!!! I hate that it happened and i hate that i cant do anything! But most of all i hate that the government isnt doing anything!!! I fucking hate bush!! Instead of be sorrowful, and sedated, he is smiling and laughing and treating as a joke, on his face i can see the though "thank god it didnt happen to me". i want to smack that look off his face everytime i fucking see it! Thank God New Orleans has the mayor they do, at least he had the balls to say on national television what most of us are thinking, i love that he finally put the issue out there that the government isnt helping. But i think its bull shit that people are saying its because of race, i fucking hate when people pull the race card everytime shit happens, im by no means racist but its getting harder for me to defent urban black america when i see the stereotypical black man looting tvs and stereos, when the gangs are stealing all the guns and then holding people up in the buildings and raping the children. They fucking piss me off so much, if i sound racist then so fucking be it, i cant stand it and i cant stand the stereo typical ghetto, pants saggin, ebonics speakin, uneducated cuz they dont wanna learn, drugie, urban blacks, there i said it . its rediculous to act the way so many blacks do and think its ok, the main reason they have the reputaion they do is because they bring it on themselves. no one is holding them back but themselves….and dont even get me started on the black colleges, balck scholarships, black miss america, black national anthem,ect. because i’ll never fuckin stop! people are dying, all kinds of people and all we can do is continually think of race instead of the person, grow up, get over urselves, and start to fuckin see the person who’s sick and dying. Our president is a rich, ignorant, lazy son-of-a-bitch and thats why things arent getting done, so dont focus solely on the black population of new orleans because there are many more than just one race, none is more special or important than the other.

i couldn’t agree more. i found it so sad that the mayor had to pull police off of search and rescue to stop the looting and violence. its a time when people need to pull together and help each other, not go looting shooting and raping others.

I appreciate your coming by, but I would appreciate it even more if you actually READ my words instead of jumping to conclusions. I never mentioned the world “black” as a race in my entry. The line was, “dark in color and dark in hope”. When that means solely black, you let me know. Point #2, in no way did I say that “I know” one way or the other about “religion”. I have the utmost respect (cont)

for those who practice peaceful religions, but I’ll be DAMNED if I condone the opinion that thousands of people died because of the “sins of a city.” Thanks for your opinion! : )

You’re definatly right about Bush, I wish the pretzel would have gotten him, and he should be hanging from the gallows today. I’m not so sure if the response had to do with race either, I would like to think that we are past that as a country, esp. in matters of life and death.
