of course he would have an onion
Today (except for
the part where i couldn’t fall asleep until 5 this morning because of a cold
and had to get up at 9) has been spectacular. The quintessential
college day.
Among other things, i did no hw and felt no guilt about it which is a big step
for me.
At some point i distinctly decided that i was going to get out of my room and
enjoy the beautiful spring day. so i learned to play Frisbee and then got
to play with someone’s Newfoundland black puppy (200lbs, but it was so cute it
still looked like a puppy). All of this while people were blowing bubbles
in the courtyard of our building, green grass, budding trees, sun shinning.
Then i took a nap (although as a result i slept through dinner, which wasn’t
that good of a thing).
To top off my spectacular day, i finally made a character to play
D&D. I’m a half-elf cleric, and i speak Giant and Celestial…i
know, i know, i’m a looser, what are you going to do about it?
Then after the game when the rest of the folk went up to get drunk, i got a
videotape of a Russian cartoon that i had watched as a kid. I wandered
down to the lounge and when i turned it on several other people who were still
awake came in and watched it with me and i translated for them. they
really seemed to like it. The cartoon is called
“Cheburashka,” and if it doesn’t make you happy then there’s
something fundamentally wrong with you…so now after watching it i’m feeding
off of that euphoria, but perhaps it is time for me to sleep.
I think I’ve played D&D once…something I’d like to try again sometime.

Yay Frisbee, I played frisbee topless the other day, it was quite weird. D&D, you are addicted.
