Strange bedfellows…it there ever were any. Yes, I’m still alive…though at the rate this cold is hitting me, only marginally so. I have a 12-15 page paper due tomorrow, a 5-8 page paper due Tuesday and a linguistics final on Thursday. The first paper is actually going well *faints,* but the second is still very much unwritten. Alex is visiting me for a few days starting tomorrow, but I’m afraid I will spend until noon Tuesday frantically typing away. Editing papers, I’ve found, is actually a fair amount of fun…it’s the staring at the blank sheet of paper which is not. Bah, I suppose I should return to it. I’ll be back in St. Louis on the 11th and hopefully I can see some of you.

Ah, end of the semester/quarter chaos – ain’t it great? Don’t worry, we’ll get through it. 😉 BTW, I’ll be back in STL on the 18th, probably. I’ll be leaving again on the 22nd, unfortunately, but we should hang again before then. (Also, if you’re going to be working at the club over break, would you see if Lynn could use me in that timeframe, either in the office or on the floor?)
