Fucking hell!!

Josh tried to kiss me.

For those who don’t know, Josh is my totally platonic (I thought) friend from playgroup. We hang out usually a couple times a week, have fun, and I don’t flirt with him at ALL. I’m really kind of annoyed. And not sure quite how to handle it.

We were hanging out at my apartment, and he said something funny, and I was laughing about it and he leaned in to kiss me. He sort of halfway made contact before I realized what the fuck he was doing and pulled back and said something like "whoa, what the fuck??" He apologized, said he had thought he was picking up on a "vibe" (whatever the hell that means), and left pretty quickly.

And now I’m not really sure what to do. Do I tell Noah about it? I mean, I truly didn’t do anything that he would have a problem with, it wasn’t one of those "I didn’t kiss him but didn’t pull away" things…I absolutely didn’t let him kiss me. But I’m afraid if I tell him he’ll get jealous and weird or something.

I don’t know quite what to do about it. And I’m sad I lost a friend.

Handle it privately for now, as for your friend toss him away unless you feel otherwise, but he must respect certain boundaries RD

I would tell him, and honestly, I can’t say I’m surprised it happened. Not because of you, but because of the guy. I remember reading about him before in here and how Noah was jealous and what not. I just kinda felt like he would eventually make some type of move.

Yikes. Ummm, well. Most boys do sorta like hot chicks. But I totally can’t relate to stay at home dads.

Balls! Sorry that happened :(. I would say to tell Noah what happened, what you did and explain you won’t let him near you again. That being said, you know him better than anyone else and you’ll figure out the right way to handle it. Bummer you lost a friend, though…that sucks.
