my best friend’s wedding

aah, little Laura is now officially Mrs Cooke, all grown up and married! 

it really was the most perfect day, she looked absoutely stunning, and the weather was amazing, gorgeous sunshine and not cold at all.

she was so incredibly excited, not stressed in the least and said she had the most amazing day which is all anyone could have wished for them.   

i’ve been left a broken woman, 12 plus hours in six inch heels, two nights on an air mattress, four hours of dancing, including oops upside your head, and a load of faffing to get a bride into her dress – my shoulder is agony,  god knows what i’ve done to it, my ankle is agony, i definitely know i sprained it tripping out the door and going over on my heels, twice! my poor old lady bones are weary from all the dancing, and my poor feet are in tatters.  it’s absolutely a good thing she’s only planned to do this once, i’m not sure i could handle a second go!
