Enough

I’m so tired it’s obscene. Can you die of tiredness? I know you can of sleep deprivation, but tiredness?

God knows I love spending the night with dan, I love cuddling up to him, and knowing he’s there when I wake up in the night. But his alarm goes off SO early, and it’s SO loud, like an absolute foghorn. And he’s not quiet about it at all. I know now what he’s like, excited I’m there, all chatty, radio on, shower going with the door open. Just bloody LOUD! The first few times he was that loud, he sat on the edge of his bed with his electric razor going and I nearly punched him in the kidneys. I am not a morning person!

Consequently I am exhausted. He gets up before six, and I never seem to be able to get back to sleep.

It’s a horrible catch 22, the only way to get a lie in is to not stay with dan, but I always want to stay with dan! I’m destined to be a bag eyed, sleepy old woman.
