I’m a cartoon

Ugh! So, after I come back from hanging out with Noah I feel depressed. Lame, huh? Yes, yes, lame. After stopping by the new apartment last night I went to Manchester. Noah was supposed to be off of work at the bar at midnight, but since his co-worker was depressed and decided to get absolutely wasted he was stuck there until around 4am. He worked 12 dang hours. When he finally got in (and woke me up) he was really stressed and really depressed and was terribly cute when asking to cuddle to make him feel better. We stayed up pretty late and ended up lounging around in bed until 130pm. Isn’t it lovely how crushes make you forget how funky someone smells? Like, "Man, usually this wouldn’t be cool, but right now it so is". Even after showering he still had that bar/fried food stank on him but I didn’t care.

After we got up we went to lunch at some place nearby, both ordered reuben sandwiches, and ate the hell out of some sauerkraut. We did some more lounging, but he had to work at 4 so I left.

An exciting thing about him living so close to the bar is that sometimes his drunk friends will wander over. This happened last night when I was there by myself– A guy who is one of Noah and Paul’s old friends, so I’ve known him for awhile, came by. He wanted to use my phone but was drunk, and ended up staring at it for awhile trying to figure it out. The kitten (Simmy) also slept on my head.

Since I’ve been back at the house I haven’t been doing much. Tomorrow a potential renter (for the house the previous renters recently ditched) is coming by, and mom wants me to be there when she comes by. I’m sure the woman is nice, but we’re a little put off by the fact that she’s relocating to Auburn from Michigan because it’s a dream of hers. This isn’t exactly a fancy town, but I guess people have their own reasons for wanting to live places. She has friends here, so I guess that’s all fine and well.

I’m still doing the job shadowing thing on Monday, and haven’t heard back from the YWCA yet to follow up about my interview. Paul said I should at least give them a week before I start to worry, or before I think about calling them back. Sounds fair, but I’m wondering if they even think I’m qualified for the job anyway. I did all I could though, so we’ll see.

Have you guys heard of the singer/musician/whatever Bright Eyes? Oh geez. So awesome.

I’m getting a little restless and an old dude-friend is messaging me on Facebook (the chat feature on Facebook is so glorious… sometimes) so I’ll end this one for now.

Noah, eh? LOL That’s my fiance’s name! RYN: I live on my own right now and had to overcome a lot from my past in order to accomplish a long list of goals I had for myself. My Noah (lol) is planning on moving in soon, but it’s been so great living on my own. Moving to Austin will be a way of getting away from reminders of my past. I’m working a lot on ridding myself of memoriesand lingering feelings from the past – mostly negative – internally so that when we make the move, it’ll be a complete transition. My dad lived in Indiana for a long time. Ever heard of Warsaw? Take care

By the way, Conor O’Berst (Bright Eyes) has a couple good albums, but the latest is sort of weird. The lyrics don’t make any sense. He’s definitely had better days. Take care

Maybe something about Auburn is in her dreams that only she can understand? Meh. To each their own. You and Noah are so cute. I’m glad you guys are having snuggly fun. Can’t wait to hear how the job front continues…

Yay for drunk friends. When I lived near the major student bar, I would constantly have drunk buddies wander into my apartment to use the bathroom. When they were reaaaaallllly drunk they would sometimes mistake my living room for the bathroom. No accidents, but I caught one or two crouched down with pants undone. Good times.

Lol a cat sleeping on my head would somewhat disturb me and random people turning up at all hours of the morning staring at my phone would grow tiresome 😛 He is right about the interview though give it sometime or if you really need to put your mind at ease call them and ask them what the status is 🙂 Regards, AFB
