YESTERDAY
I had a very busy day yesterday……………..
I started in the morning with the usual routine. Breakfast and swimming. Then of course I went to stained glass. My piece is coming along quite nicely. I am not sure how it will look in the end because I have lots of spaces. I don’t like the look of the sawder so we will see. I enjoy the people in the stained glass. I have been there almost every morning all winter. Friday we have a luncheon. I plan to go but I also have an art class I am taking. I guess I’ll miss the art although I’m not sure what I want to do. The teacher and president of the art class is wonderful. He is in the stained glass room just about everyday. Since he is getting older – over 90 – they elected three presidents to share the work that he has always done alone. I see that he is not in the room as long as he use to be.
After the stained glass room I went to meet two of my cousins for lunch. One I see quite often in Toronto but the other I only see in Florida. We went to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch. had a lovely chat. One of my cousins is in a play so she gave us both tickets. It will be on March 10th – quite close to the time we go home.
I went to have my laptop checked out. He told me I might have a problem with the logic board so I am bringing it in tomorrow and they will send it away to have it fixed. In the meantime I backed up my documents. I hope everything is backed up because he said I could lose everything. It will take a few days.
At night we stayed home. I made an easy supper and did a washing. My toilet always floods at least once a winter. What a mess! So I had to wash the towels that we used to mop up the water.
Hubby and I were in bed about 8:30. I guess that’s why I’m up now – 12:00 a.m.
Tomorrow is another busy day. SWIMMING, STAINED GLASS, COMPUTER STORE. Oh yes I left my ID somewhere in the clubhouse so will have to get it tomorrow. I hope I don’t have a hassle to get into the clubhouse. At night we are going for supper to hubby’s cousin.
So maybe just maybe I’ll try to go back to sleep. I am sure you have read that before!!!!!!!!!!!
its wonderful to think of someone over 90 teaching art classes. hugs p
