YESTERDAY

Yesterday we waited for the couple to come and see the house. It was disappointing as they just glanced around quickly and left. Did they like it or not? Who knows? No comment from the real estate agent.
Anyhow we left for the country. As usual I slept most of the way. I don’t know why I always fall asleep if I am a passenger in a car driving more than half an hour.
Anyhow we arrived at the country. We visited with friends and had lunch with others. We showed them pictures of our new condo. Then we went into town. I went to Penneys and bought three pair of slippers. I tried them on but will wear them for awhile to see which ones to keep. The ones I am wearing now are all torn and more than ready for the garbage.
I also bought a blouse and a fancy coffee cup because I had a thirty percent off discount. We went to sit at Borders. I looked at a lot o books but bought nothing – probably because I was with hubby.
Then we met our friends for supper. The exciting part for me was the other group was there. The group that has my old friends and the QUEEN BEE! They were all very friendly so I have very high hopes for next year. I started to sing Hail Hail the Gang’s all Here. Few joined in!!! We took over almost all the restaurant. It was the first time for all of us. It was very cheap and delicious Pizza. I also ordered curly fries and fried vegies. YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!
Then hubby and I drove home. I did another two page layout. My SIL’s book is just about finished. I’m wondering what to do next.
Time for breakfast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As an ex-REagent, I must comment that people often feel uncomfortable if the owners are there while they are looking. We usually asked the owners to leave before and while we were showing it. It is best for the clients to not have to meet the owners at this time….

we got a policy here, if it’s torn or has a hole init we DUMP that immediately even if we can not afford to do so. we can not afford to NOT do it. holes and tears make us depressed, treat yourself …today

I agree with Beesknees. Usually the agent wants the owners to not be present so the buyers have the freedom to look and make comments.

Gosh, you live a party lifestyle! When are you going to slow down? LOL!

Supper with your friends, old and new, sounds cheerful and lively. I hope your house sells soon. Trying to keep a home in perfect order for showing is exhausting.
