YESTERDAY

Yesterday was a pretty good day although at the end of the day hubby fell and hurt his thumb. He was lucky it wasn’t worse!!! He fell walking between some trailers. He tripped over a hose. He saw it, lifted his foot but I guess not high enough.
In he afternoon I went shopping with some friends. I needed knee highs for the holidays which start Wednesday night. I have ten people coming for supper. My cleaning lady is coming Wednesday. Maybe I’ll ask her to stay till after supper.
I also bought myself a new watch and some t-shirts and a pair of sweat pants. It was cold here last night!!!!
We were suppose to play Canasta last night but hubby didn’t feel like it. Our friends dropped over anyways and we just watched TV.
Two of my friends are planning to come to NY with me next Fall. I must start a NY savings account. Not sure how many others will come. We will plan the trip in detail before we leave so there are no arguments about what to do when we get there.
I don’t know when we’ll go home today. We could go right now but not sure if there’s any rush or advantage. I have lots of cooking to do but don’t think I will do any tonight. When I get home I will take all the meat out of the freezer so I will be able to start early in the morning.
What I will prepare:

1. sweet and sour meatballs
2. vegie chopped liver
3. pickled tongue
4. vegie fried rice
5. chicken soup
6. noodles
7. brisket with roast potatoes
I will serve a salad and a special round bread with raisins.
So tomorrow I will be busy all day. I don’t mind. It’s good for me to be busy.
Tomorrow hubby will go to the new condo as we will have it inspected. Hopefully it will pass inspection.
Watching I LOVE LUCY now. It use to be on in the very early morning. Now is a much better time. So I guess that’s it for today.
