YEAH!

Today I spent most of the day at the hospital. It was a gorgeous, sunny and hot day. I had to move my car by nine as they were going to clean the garage. I decided I should go swimming so did that and then drove over to the hospital. I made one stop at the periodontist. He told me to continue with the medication and make sure I was keeping my teeth clean. I bought some picks from him so I can use them instead of floss. I always seem to have a lot of plaque around my teeth.

My very sick friend actually walked today. He is very weak so this was very encouraging.

I had a chance to meet my daughter’s friend for a coffee. It was a bit strained for me. I am not sure how she felt. I just am not great at making small conversation.

I heard on the radio that men should be cautious about using laptops on their lap and wearing tight underwear. It can affect their sperm count. I wanted to tell my daughter’s friend but wasn’t comfortable enough. She has been trying to get pregnant for a couple of years. She has tried just about everything. I don’t know why she won’t put her name in for adoption. I told my daughter to tell her.

At night we stayed home. I did crochet a little and then went to sleep early – about ten.

Tomorrow we have no plans. I think I will paint the wall in my craft room. I have planned to do it since we move in. Now that my friends are coming next week I think it is a good time.

Back to reading some of your entries. I know I haven’t been good about keeping up.

Here’s a tip for you, rinse your mouth with Listerine BEFORE you brush your teeth, it kills germs in your mouth and makes the plaque looser so it get removed easier. I have been doing that for years and I have a lot less tartar on my teeth and no gum issues for years. I also use a spin brush rather than a regular one, you can buy them in the drug store, they run on batteries and are not that expensive. They help to massage your gums which also help keep them healthy. I think diabetics tend to get gum disease more often due to poor circulation in the gums, massaging them stimulates circulation.

You sure do stay busy. I do too. My time is spent with grandchildren. Last night we went to two schools. The middle school for orientation for the sixth graders and then to the fifth grade science fair at the elementary. Zach will be middle school next year, growing to fast. Love,
