WHY I DON’T LIKE THE COUNTRY

1. I DON’T LIKE PACKING AND UNPACKING.

2. I DON’T LIKE DRIVING FOR ONE AND A HALF HOURS. MAYBE IF I WAS DOING THE DRIVING.

3. ONCE WE GET THERE I HAVE TO UNPACK,CHECK WHAT FOOD WE HAVE, GO SHOPPING AND STOCK THE FRIDGE AND CUPBOARD.

4. FOR MANY YEARS THE COUNTRY MEANT WONDERFUL SHOPPING. WE ONLY WENT A FEW TIMES A YEAR. NOW THAT WE GO SO OFTEN IT IS NOT HALF AS EXCITING.

5. NONE OF MY FRIENDS ARE THERE. NOT THAT I HAVE TOO MANY.

6. ON SATURDAY HUBBY GOES TO PLAY GOLF AND THEN HAS HIS BUDDIES OVER FOR A DRINK AND SNACK AT 4. THEY HANG OUT TILL ABOUT SIX SO THEY AREN’T HUNGRY FOR SUPPER. MY WOMEN FRIENDS DON’T EAT SO I AHVE TO SCROUNGE AROUND MYSELF.

7. WE’VE BEEN GOING FOR ABOUT 25 YEARS. I THINK IT’S ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You make a good case for staying home. I think I would get really tired of traveling like that. When I was younger I didn’t mind it like I do now, but at my age I want to stay home, or just go somewhere local for the day. Love,

I wouldn’t like all the packing and unpacking but I love the country!

Sounds like a lot of work for you. Maybe you can skip the next trip to the country.

what a pity you cannot just enjoy nature in the countryside, listen to birds and relax with a good book or craft. Never mind…..may be you need the shops again….

Hmmm… sounds like you need to find a way for it to be enjoyable for you or just not do it. Life is short… Can you take along a craft / good book?
