WEEKEND IN TORONTO

I’m still in Toronto but the most exciting part is over and I have time so thought I would write about it now.
We arrived here on Friday about 3:3O. We relaxed. At seven we went to meet hubby’s family for supper. My daughter and her boyfriend came too. My daughter slept over.
On Saturday my hubby went to the hospital to visit his brother. I hung out with my daughter. She was planning to take me to a place where we could paint but it was closed when we got there. We stopped at Winners but I didn’t buy anything. We came back to the motel. She went home and I went swimming. By that time my grandchildren were here so I wen swimming with them. It was fun. They are so comfortable in the pool.
At night we had my sister’s 80th birthday party. It was a wonderful party……..only family. The children played together even though most of them had just met. I gave my speech and everyone enjoyed it. I gave my sister her scrapbook and everyone was so excited. There were a few other speeches.
Sunday morning hubby went back to the hospital. At 11 he came back to pick up my sister and I. He drove us downtown. We checked into the hotel. We went to see the play Billy Elliot in the afternoon. At night we went for supper. IT WAS SOO HOT AND HUMID!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had a lot of time to talk…………lots of quality time.
This morning we had a yummy breakfast at SHOPSY’S. Then we went walking through the underground. I shopped at PANDORA. I bought a few charms for my bracelet. Then we took the subway and hubby picked us up.
Tonight we went for supper with my cousins.
Now to bed. Tomorrow home. All in all a very successful weekend except that I never saw my SIL and BIL in the hospital. I guess we’ll have to come back soon.
