WAITING-READ

I’m waiting for my grandson to come. It’s already 10:30. My son is SLOW~~~~ I guess it really doesn’t matter to me BUT if I knew he would be so late I would have gone on the treadmill. I slept good last night and only crawled out of bed at eight thirty.
I ordered tickets for Cirque Du Soleil. I don’t think I got the best seats but I certainly paid a good price. The taxes alone can kill you. I am going with two friends because our hubbies didn’t want to go. He didn’t want to spend the money.
Not sure what I will do today as I have my grandson. I will see how he feels and what he wants to do.
It’s a sunny cool day. I already put on  suntan lotion so we can go to the park if he wants.
Tonight we go play bridge. Tomorrow morning bowling. BUsy and BUSY! Thursday morning I have my grandson again. JOY!

RYN: about books. I mostly read mysteries, oh, and a bit of science fiction, too.

Enjoy your day with your grandson. 🙂

I hope you have a lovely day with your grandson. Your son should not be slow when you’re having to wait on him!! He should realize that you have more to do than sit and wait! hugs, Weesprite

Maybe next time you can agree on a time that your son should be there so you can do others things in the meantime, that is just common courtesy. Have fun and enjoy all your activites!

Stopped by to show you this: http://www.drweil.com/drw/u/id/TIP02364 Sorry your son is so slow… my husband is like that when it comes to getting T ready to go somewhere. Of course, J takes a million years to get ready himself, so it takes double the time when he he has to get T ready, too. One way my mom and I solved the problem (and, really, it’s not just J… sometimes *I’m* slow too!) is that we take him over in his PJ’s before breakfast. That way all we have to do is toss him in the car. Also, I try to remember to call her if I’m running late… she likes to do her exercises in the morning but will skip them if I get him to her house earlier. If I tell her I’m running late, she can still do them and shower before we get there. It doesn’t always work as planned, but it helps… 🙂

I just read your note to me about my name change. I am Ladysmithgramma as that is the name of the town in Wisconsin I lived in and now we are retiring to Kentucky so maybe I will change my name to something different to go with my move. Don’t know yet.

I’ll bet you will be glad you bought tickets to Cirque – I always watch it in awe on TV! Take time to smell the roses, by the way!

You’re just a party girl! Fun fun fun…that’s all you think about!

oh I really can’t stand when people are late!! I think it is incredibly rude. Especially those people who make a habit out of being late.. it’s like they’re way more important than me, or anything I have to do is… very very rude

Sounds like a fun way to spend the day! 🙂

when the Cirque du Soleil was here in NZ it was extremely expensive to go to. I found most of it was shown on tv and that was free. Hope the little guy and you have fun today. hugs P
