VERY BUSY

I was busy all day with my friend. She has been here all month but is going home on Wednesday. I have mixed feelings about her leaving. I will certainly miss her calls and spending time with her. I told her that today was her day and we could go wherever she wanted. We went to McDonalds for breakfast and then planned our route. We started at Michaels as I need canvasses for my art classes. I also bought some stuff for my grandchildren. Then we went to Target. I wanted to buy some Passover glasses for my grandchildren but they were all sold out. Passover is far away. I wonder if they will get more in. I guess I’ll have to call. We went to Marshalls, Bed Bath, Barnes and Noble. I dropped off my library books. We went to TOOJAYS FOR LUNCH. YUMMY! Last but not least we went to ALDIS where I bought some food. Very cheap! Eggs – 69 cents a dozen!!!!!!
I came home around six. I made us onion soup for supper. Then I was tired so instead of sitting here I started to clean and rearrange. I emptied the shelves where I kept the stuff that I collect to mail the children. I moved those shelves into the kitchen where I put the stuff that I had on a rolling cart which was open. I now have things in drawers neatly out of sight.
Now it’s time for bed. Tomorrow I have an art class!!!!

this made me smile. You started off saying you told her it was ‘her’ day but it appears to did all the things and got all the things done you needed to do. Was that coincidence? hugs and smiles p

lol you know you can buy CHEAP canvas at home depot. They have canvas material that they use for drop cloths. lol paint on that..they are so large and so wonderful! And foldable..

another good day. I guess the cranky mood is gone. I’ve heard about Aldi – even saw a segment about it on a television news channel. I don’t think there are any in NYC. I’ll enjoy Trader Joe’s here and Food4Less in San Diego.

Shopping is always fun, even if it’s just grocery shopping. Sounds like an excellent day!

Wow, that’s a lot of running around to shops in one day.

Haven’t got an Aldi near us unfortunately. You had a good shopping day by the sound of it.
