UP EARLY – OK
I AM UP AT 5:30 a.m. – before the alarm clock had a chance to go off. I set it for six. I am babysitting this morning – actually all day – so want to go have breakfast at McDonalds before I go to my son’s house. I love their hash browns. I have to be there by eight.
I am not sure what I will do with my grandson. I think I will stick around his house for awhile. He loves to play his DS games and a game on the computer. When he gets bored maybe we’ll go to McDonalds for lunch so he can play there. If he wants to we will go swimming, and maybe shopping at the Toy Store and the Dollar store. We haven’t done that for awhile. I’m sure it’s not strange but I don’t have the same bond with this grandson as I do with my "real" one. I love being with him also but it’s just different.
My hubby will be going to the trailer this morning but I’ll go tomorrow after I relax and do the treadmill. I am noticing a big difference in my clothes and the way I move – much easier.
Ted Kennedey died. Does anyone care? He wasn’t someone to be proud of. I don’t think.
The weather has turned colder……………………..
I must start thinking about the menu for the holidays – on September 18. We’ll be about ten. I have to call my nephew to come.
My hubby agreed to go to Toronto in October so that I can attend the Needlework/sewing festival there. He will say goodbye to his brother who is probably not going to Florida this winter. I must remember to save up some money for the shopping at the festival. they have so much neat stuff.
I am sewing the binding on my baby quilt. I don’t think it is good enough to give a s a present but I will go to the quilting meeting and ask them if there is a way to save it.
My egg that I did like a stained glass window came out neat. I just have to wait for a stand to arrive. It should be waiting at the trailer.
Next week my friend and I are going to start making a "memory" blanket. Something different. I have to decide which pictures to use and who I want to give it to.
Anyhow I better get ready. Have a wonderful day. Maybe I’ll be back soon if my grandson is not in a rush to go anywhere.
well, i didn’t much care about ted kennedy. would love to see a photo of your eggs. take care,

I don’t care about Ted Kennedy either. I’m sure a baby wouldn’t care if the blanket was messed up. I know mine care more about softness and pretty colors than how it looks. I want to learn to quilt.

Senator Kennedy wasn’t one of my favorites, but I’m sorry for what happened to him. That’s a pretty terrible way to die. And when you get right down to it, I liked HIM a whole lot better than I ever liked the likes of Michael Jackson.

Kennedy spent a great deal of his life working so other people could have a better life.

I’m sure your quilt isn’t messed up. We tend to be our own worst critics. 🙂

I can’t understand some peoples attitude to Teddy Kennedy, he did so much for your country! Hope the quilt goes well. hugs P
