UNEXPECTED PLANS – OK

Last night I went on and on about walking and swimming. Well my plans for the morning have changed. I am going to get the shingles vaccine. Hubby is driving me and we will be leaving in a few minutes. I have spoken to too many people who have or had shingles and they have told me how much pain they are/were in. I am not taking any chances. Strange thing is that I don’t take the flu vaccine or the HINI but I don’t want to get shingles and have PAIN. So we are off in a few minutes.

My mom had shingles over Thanksgiving and she was in horrid pain, it’s one vaccine I would highly recommend.

Yes I have heard that the pain is horrible. Good move on your part.

I didn’t know there was such a vaccine. Good luck.

I recall my dad having shingles and being in pain for weeks! My best friend from high school got them when she was in her 40s that is unusual. I would like to get one but I think you have to be over age 60, is that right? I can’t see why I can’t get it now?

shingles is very painful and nasty, I am told…so if you are prone to it this is a good choice of vaccine for you. hugs P

My sister had the shingles and they were extremely painful – for weeks!

Thanks for your note. It seems that money problems are the one constant in my life. But I try not to let it get me down. There are so many other good things to be thankful for. 🙂
