TORONTO WEEKEND

We had a wonderful family weekend in Toronto. I wish we could have seen more relatives and spent more time with others but time was limited.
We arrived Thursday afternoon. We relaxed. For supper we went out with hubby’s brother and sister. Hubby’s brother is doing wonderful. Unbelievable! He’s a man with 100 lives!!!!!!!! We went to SHOOM SHOOM which is a Mediterranean restaurant. My daughter joined us for supper.
Friday hubby went to play golf. He dropped me off at Fairview Mall so I could go to the Apple store. I am pretty sure I am going  to buy a desktop. The only problem is I don’t really have a good place to put it. My laptop is in my craft room but I don’t think it would work with a Desktop. A desktop is actually cheaper!
I met my sister and cousin in the Mall and we had lunch. It was much too expensive and I wouldn’t do that again. We had a pleasant visit. Then my daughter picked me up. We went back to the motel. We went swimming and had a long talk!
At night we went to my cousin for supper. Another cousin was there. Also her son and grandchildren. Her granddaughters are super cute!
Saturday morning I went with hubby to visit his brother and wife. Then my daughter picked my SIL and I up and went for lunch. She treated us!!!!!!! She really has matured into a fine young woman.
After that my daughter and I went to THE PAINTING LOUNGE. It was so much fun. She treated me. We bought canvasses and painted up a storm. Then we went back to the motel for a swim. Our wedding was at night. It was fun seeing some of hubby’s cousins who we hadn’t seen for quite awhile.
This morning we went for brunch at the house of the parents of the married  couple. Then we drove home. HOME SWEET HOME!
My SIL asked me if we could come more often as her hubby really misses his brother so we will maybe every other month.
I finished two wonderful books on the weekend. THE HOUSE I LOVED AND UNPLUGGED. Now to choose another one to start.
So now it’s bedtime. Tomorrow swimming, shopping for food etc.
