TORONTO – OK

We are in Toronto for the weekend. So far so good. We are staying in he same motel that we always stay in – Comfort Inn. We arrived Friday about three o"clock. After unpacking I wanted to go buy a toy for the kids that I can’t find at home. I made a few calls. After figuring out which store was closer hubby drove me over. I looked through the educational store. I bought two books and two toys. Then we came back to the room to relax. At night we went out for supper with my sister and cousin. Their hubbies too of course. We went to a restaurant just up the street from our motel so it was easy. My sister and cousin are the same!
Saturday morning hubby went to visit his brother. I stayed in the motel as it started raining with a vengence. It stopped for awhile so I went accross the street to the scrapbbok store. I bought some more stuff for my SIL’s scrapbook. In the afternoon my cousin picked me up and then my sister. We went out for lunch, then to the Dollar store and then to a new bookstore. I looked around but in the end bought nothing as I will buy them for my Kindle when I get to Plattsburgh next weekend.
In the evening we went to the 80th birthday party for my SIL. There were 17 of us. I gave her the egg I made and the scrapbook. She really enjoyed both. I am taking back the scrapbook as I have a lot more to do. I will also include the pictures from last night and this afternoon.
Hubby’s brother and sister are looking their age. My SIL is having trouble walking. My other SIL is at her wit’s end because her hubby is so sick.
We had a very pleasant evening. This afternoon we are going to a niece for lunch and then we will leave for home. I can’t wait to get home tomorrow and work on my crafts again.
All in all it’s been a great weekend.
