TORONTO HERE I COME – OK

I just can’t believe all the travelling I am going to be doing over the next few months. I have decided to go to Toronto the first weekend in December. Not only will it turn out expensive but it will make my life hectic.
Around November 18 I will be going to New York for four days and then driving to Florida. I will probably get to Florida about November 25. December 4-7 I will be going to Toronto. At the beginning of January I am going on a cruise with my children and grandchildren. At the end of January we are going on a cruise with the Candian Club from Century Village. Finally in the middle of March we will head home. I wanted to go to California in the Spring but I think by then I may have had enough!
I am trying to find a cheap flight to Toronto. I think I found one for about 300 return but when my son looked it up late last night he only found one for about five. I am going to call VISA this morning and will use points.I  plan to stay with relatives so the hotel won’t cost me anything but maybe I’ll have to rent a car. I hate asking someone to pick me up at the airport. Then to depend on people to drive me places is not my cup of tea.
My hubby just pointed out that it will be expensive to come back for the Bar Mitzvah. I never thought about the money. In that way I am wrong. I plan to do something and don’t think about the cost. To my hubby’s credit he is not complaining about the cost.
I didn’t sleep too well last night. I went to bed at 11 but couldn’t fall asleep so got back up. I worked on my daughter’s scrapbook. She will have a wonderful book of memories. I made her four pages of just her and her Daddy. I don’t have as much pictures of myself with her.
I also went through some food and got some ready for my cleaning lady. Until I leave for Florida I want to get rid of stuff. Next time she comes she will take it home. I also told her to take everything left in the freezers. I am trying to empty them before I leave but I’m sure it won’t happen. I only have soup and bread so it isn’t a big deal.
I went back to sleep about one and slept till about four thirty. I will need a nap in the afternoon.
I am going on the treadmill and then a nice hot bath where I can have a nap. Then my friend is coming over to work on our eggs. Tonight is our last bridge game as our friends are starting to leave for Florida.
I must make some apppointments for my hair, facial etc. It’s time. I also have to decide about taking my grandchildren before I leave.
My daughter hasn’t returned my call in a few days. She sure takes after me. I try to be much better now. She has always been bad and sometimes hubby and I get really angry but she doesn’t care. She always has a very good excuse about why she coudln’t call.
So have a good day. Take care. Stay well.

You sure are going to be quite the road runner in the next few months. My mom and I are awful with calling each other as well. I wonder why?

I’m confused, in your first paragraph you said you would not be going to Toronto and then you said later that you were checking flights to Toronto? Are you going or not?

ryn: Thanks for the note. My doc gives me options: a third surgery to remove the endo, birth control pills, or this new technique in which they numb the individual nerves around my rectum (since that’s where most of the endo–and pain–is). I chose none. I’ve done the BCP’s and hate the way I feel on them. So, I struggle for a few days each month. The Advil usually helps. Thanks for asking
