TOMORROW AND TODAY

Tomorrow hubby and I will be going to the radiologist. I guess we will find out when the radiation will start etc. I guess we won’t be leaving for Florida until late December or January. I don’t care and my hubby is adjusting to the idea very well.
My son is here for two nights. Poor kid has alot of issues with his wife…………………
I bought a picture printer today which I am going to keep in my scrapbook room. Otherwise my hubby downloads them on is computer or on mine and I have no pictures.
I went to a new dollar store today. I bought some "makeup" bags to keep in my purse. I separated my things – I have makeup in one, US money in another, pens in another etc. When I go to change purses it will be much easier.
This afternoon we had a funeral. Once again I realize just how vulnerable we are. So this afternoon I went shopping. It’s my cure for everything.
Seems like I am not keeping up with my favourites. Maybe tonight or tomorrow or the next day.

Best wishes to you and hubby. Hope things go well for both of you. The make-up bags in the purse idea is one I’m going to try.

RYN: To tell you the truth, his day care did a lot of the work… the teachers were AWESOME and helped us every step of the way. However, I can tell you that the one thing that really worked was putting him in underwear… once he was out of the diapers he learned quickly that he would be wet and uncomfortable if he didn’t go to the bathroom. We started at two, and he had accidents between thenand three, but by three they were few and far between. It might be a little bit difficult to get your grandson to potty train right now, considering everything else he’s going through. Everyone involved has to be committed to helping him out, so if anyone in the mix (I’m thinking of your DIL in particular) doesn’t help, it won’t work. That and the emotional stuff the poor little guy must be going through will probably cause problems. The good news is that it’s really not unusual for kids (especially boys) not to be potty trained at three… it IS probably time for him to be rid of the diapers. We still keep T in them at night as he still isn’t night trained, but his doc says that’s normal for his age. Also, we have a history of bedwetting in the family (including mys

myself), so we try not to make a big deal out of that. ANYWAY… what I recommend is taking him out to shop for “big boy” undies, preferably the ones with character on them, and get him excited about wearing them. Once he’s in them, make sure you always have several extra sets of clothes, and watch him carefully for signs of him needing to pee. (You probably remember this stuff from when you trained his father, though… *LOL*) Good luck… if I think of anything else I’ll let you know… 🙂

Good luck to your husband, and to you also!

I think shopping after funerals should be mandatory.
