THE VERY LAST DAY-EDITED

So this is my last day in Florida. I have at least six loads of washing as I am washing all the linen, blankets, bathroom mats etc. Soon as I change the next load I will start packing the car. Thankfully I have my son to help.
This was a wonderful winter and I am ever so grateful that I was able to spend the winter here.

I went out to eat at some delicious restaurants.
I spent some wonderful, peaceful times at the pool.
I saw some fun shows at the clubhouse.
I went shopping mainly for art supplies and books.
I played bridge.
I went on a fantastic cruise.
I went to the indoor pool at the clubhouse many times.
I did exercise on the WII.
I went to meet my son and his family at Cape Canaveral. We went to Kennedy Space center.
We did a 2000 piece puzzle with currency on it.
We fought the neighbours who wanted to replace our elevator before we left which would have left one man marooned in his home. We won.
I took several art courses.
I did some stained glass but still have to finish my piece. Next year I hope.
I sold my accordion for 650! Yeah for Craig’s list!!!!!!
I read several books.
I bought many books – both ebooks and regular.
I played Wordscraper and Lexulous. Still playing.
I gained weight much to my dismay.
We went on a wonderful cruise.
On the way here I stopped in New Jersey. I went to see MEMPHIS, BILLY ELLIOT, PROMISES, WOMEN ON THE VERGE on Broadway.
Gas went WAY WAY up.
Countries such as Egypt and LYbia revolted against their government.
There was a tragic earthquake and tsunami in JAPAN. Thousands died.
A family was murdered in ISRAEL again.
I celebrated my 69th birthday on a cruise.
I spent some time with my cousins from Toronto and my other cousin from New Jersey.
There is probably a lot more but that’s all I’m writing about now.

You have a very eventful life! Belated happy birthday! Happy trails and safe trip.:)

Thanks for the lovely birthday wishes! Gosh, we are really close in age, just days apart. No, I haven’t read any Tami Hoag. I have heard of her, though. One day I will.
