THE SUMMER IS OVER – OK

We are home and I am pretty much unpacked. I did about four loads of washing. My linen is ready to go back to the trailer.
I am now making lists of what I have to do this week. Our Jewish New Year starts on Friday. I am not having a lot of people but I still have shopping and cooking that I want/need to do. I also need to get my hair trimmed. Maybe tomorrow I’ll go for a much needed haircut and manicure. I’ll shop for food and have everything I need in the house.
I also have to make some phone calls to doctors to check when my apppointment is and to some friends.
My brother-in-law was back in the hospital on the weekend. He is in such sad shape. My poor SIL. She has been going hrough hell since the winter. I wish we lived in the same town so I could be with her. We will go in a few weeks but will  only stay for the weekend so not much we can do.
On the way home from the country I was talking to my hubby about the senior home. I am going to call a man who use to be in charge of senior homes and hear what he has to say. I didn’t want to get involved but don’t think it can hurt and maybe just maybe it will help. My son was suppose to call this man but never got in touch. Then I will get together with my ex DIL to just talk to her and hear what she has to say about the home.
My great niece who stayed here one night last week hasn’t been back. I spoke to her mother last night. Apparently the kid is completely overwhelmed with university. She hates her roommate so is trying to get a private room. She will have to wait in line early and her mother told me she is very impatient. She needs to change a course because she thinks the course is too hard. This kid who was very independent at home is falling apart and lonesome. She won’t take a course on Monday and Friday as she wants to be able to go home for a long weekend. She lives in Toronto. I think she just has to adjust and then she’ll be fine.
My belly button stopped bleeding after i saw the doctor last week. I have been putting on compresses and an ointment she gave me but it still is "red". I will go back to the doctor on Tuesday to see if it’s ok or if I will need a biopsy. I’m so relieved that this doctor has an office in her home in this community so no apppointment is needed. I will go over evry early on Tuesday.
I must remember to go on the treadmill tomorrow.
I brought home my clothes from the trailer. Clothes I haven’t worn for a few years so what’s the use of leaving it there. I also went through the medicine cupboard. We had medication that was there for years and sure not potent anymore. I love getting rid of stuff!!!!!!!
We have started tot alk about Florida. Hubby will probably leav eat the end of October and I will leave at the end of November.
My nephew who is coming for supper on Friday called to ask if he could bring his "new" dog  with them. Gee, I don’t like animals but what choice do I have??????????????? I still have to call my son’s girlfriend’s father and invite them for Saturday lunch. I don’t know why I keep putting it off.
So now that I told you all about my day and week I will read some entrires maybe and crawl back into bed.
