THE LATEST

 My hubby came home around 11 last night. He had been at the hospital all evening. Apparently my friend called him about seven and told him that the doctor had called and told her she needed to go back to the hospital. I was shocked! It had to be around seven. I just dropped her off at the hospital a little before six. Did she just run in, say hello and leave the poor man alone again?????? Anyhow apparently he has an infection and needed a procedure done. It needed her signature. He had a high fever and was out of it. So they went to the hospital. When they left the procedure was just going to be done. Why didn’t they wait to see what happened? I know my hubby played golf so was probably exhausted. My friend was probably tired from running back and forth to the hospital. She is so fragile!
Anyhow in the morning I will call her to see if and when she wants to go to the hospital. I think another couple is going in the morning. I will make myself available to her whenever. I am suppose to go visit another friend in the afternoon but if I can’t I will just have to call her.
Her daughter called and wanted to come but she discouraged it. I don’t know why. She could sure use the support.
I sure hope my guyfriend is ok. I don’t know what my girlfriend will do if she is left alone. I know a couple of years back they sold their homes(one in Florida and one here) and moved into a rented apartment. She gave most of her jewellery to her daughter and/or granddaughter. She is preparing for death I guess. She is over 80. It’s so different from the movie I saw last night where the women are still LIVING!
Anyhow I better get back to sleep. Tomorrow may be a long day!!
