THE LATEST
We came home from the country on Sunday night at six. We unpacked the food from the car and then went to meet my son and his fiancee for supper. We had delicious Chinese food.
While we were eating we discussed their upcoming wedding. Actually I just listened. I said very little. I don’t want to get invloved. I don’t want to mix in and start trouble. My son never asked for my opinion and even if he did I wouldn’t give it. Actually he knows. I think a wedding is a waste of energy and money. It also causes a lot of stress and anxiety and conflict.
They rented a place for their wedding. It only holds about fifty people. Well she doesn’t want to invite her aunts or her grandmothers etc. SAY WHAT???????????? I said she should invite her grandmother but I don’t know anything about her family. I don’t know why she wouldn’t invite her aunts……………
On the other hand my son wants to invite all his aunts, a few cousins who are special to him, some friends etc. Good luck to them.
Tomorrow I might go shopping with my cousin for something to wear to their wedding. I don’t know if I’ll buy pants or a skirt………………..and two tops so I’ll have an outfit for my nephew’s wedding also.
This morning I went food shopping. I also bought some more clear containers for my craft room. I much prefer them to the wicker baskets.
This afternoon I made a meat vegie soup and a roast which is still cooking. I used a very cheap cut of meat. I guess it’s time to close it so I can put it away before I go to sleep.
My friend came over for awhile. We had tea and chatted. I missed my nap so I am really tired but think it’s too early to go to bed.
So in the morning I have an appointment with the psychologist. Not sure what we’ll do after. We’re playing bridge at night.
Bedtime!
Sorry this entry is all over the place.
Sounds like you are not very excited about your son’s wedding, hope it all turns out all right.

Everyone deserves to have one wedding. If they do it right, they will never want to do it again!
