THE BESTEST DAY ever

In the morning I met a very old and dear friend for breakfast. We went to a bagel/breakfast restaurant. We talked and chatted about anything and everything. We have been friends since our children were very young. She use to live in Montreal but for many years has lived out of town. After breakfast I drove her past the apartment building where we might move. Then we drove past another friend’s home. She called and our friend came out. We went to sit in the park and caught up on each other’s news.
We stopped at a NAOT shoe store. One pair of sandals was really nice but we didn’t buy anything. The best part about the shoes was that the insole came out and can be changed so the shoes can technically last for years! I think there is a pair of NAOT shoes in our future!!! They were over 100 so not sure when I would spring for them.
I dropped her off at the subway station and went out to the West Island. I went to the toy store looking for a small container of Play Foam. I was disappointed that they weren’t selling that size anymore! I went out for lunch and then went to pick up my grandson. We went to Tim Horton for donuts. Then we went swimming. I just love swimming and he enjoyed it too. We had pizza for supper.
Now just about the BESTEST part of the day was the early evening. I went to pick up the rest of the family – my son, his girlfriend and my other two grandchildren. We went to the local park and went to the Israeli dancing. I was so HAPPY to have my family with me and dancing!!!!!!!!!!! My DIL explained to the children that I do so much for them that they could dance with me. So we all danced. Then they went to the park and ZI stayed a little longer.
When I returned home I was so sore but I was so HAPPY. I love being with my family. I love sharing experiences with them.

I like the look of Naot shoes, but they’re not comfortable for my feet. I find most good shoes are at least $100! Sounds like a great day. I haven’t gone folk dancing in a LONG time…
