I think I am going to go swimming. I haven’t been for a few weeks because I was away on a cruise and then I had a cold. The weather was also miserable and I heard the water was cold in the indoor pool. I think I am going to take a chance this morning.
I was up around four or five. I did two loads of washing. I made some mocked chopped liver which takes a lot longer than I thought. Does anyone know any tricks for peeling hard-boiled eggs?
I already had a nap and it’s only 11. While I am at the clubhouse I am going to find out if I can do some stained glass this afternoon.
No I can’t just sit and be. I don’t know why but I have to be doing something.
Listening to the news about Haiti is so very depressing.
Life is so very fragile!
I do try to appreciate just how lucky I am.
I hope and pray that the people in Haiti are getting enough help. Certainly there are many charities and people raising money. Now if it only gets into the right hands. It was so sad to see the father of the girl from Lynn University. He was told she was alive so came to Florida. I am not sure what the latest is about her. SO DEVASTATING!
So off I go to the pool so I can begin exercising again. I wonder if anyone will be there.
So I went swimming. There were a few people in the pool and the water was warm. It was wonderful to be back in the pool. I will now try to go everyday as I use to. After swimming I had lunch and then another nap. Now we are going out for pizza. Have a good one.
The hard boiled egg trick is simply this. After you boil the eggs, plunge them in cold water for about a minute, drain the water out and then roll them around in the pot until the shells crack, kind of gently but with some force. the shells will come off easily, works for me! Have fun swimming!

Enjoy the swimming. I just love it too! Great tragedy in Haiti. It’s one of the worst I know about. Unbelievable. We should be thankful and forwarned. Nature is striking back and we’re so ill-prepared in our confortable lives we have created.

New eggs do not peel easily, but I’m sure the ones we buy in the grocery are moe than a few days old when they get to the store.
