SUPER DUPER DAY

Yesterday was a wonderful fun filled day. For sure I can’t complain. In the morning I went to the mall across the street. I went to buy some groceries and decorations at the Dollar Store. I needed some delly for supper tonight and also some decorations for my grandson’s birthday tonight. By the way the Dollar Store is no longer a dollar. Most things are $2……………..some 1.25. Soon enough it won’t even pay to go there!
When I returned I had a quick lunch because we had an appointment with the doctor. It was our semi-annual checkup. Hubby and I had great results. I am sure it’s because of my swimming and his golfing. It made me determined to continue swimming. I have to go for a mammogram and a colonoscopy. OY! I am determined not to worry about either………I still have to go to the gynochologist. I just have to go make an appointment as there is no way I can reach them on the phone. This time I will make an appointment for the next visit.
Anyhow after the doctor we went to visit friends. They live about half hour away. Their individual condo is so pretty!!!!!!!! Then we went downstairs to their sports area. I was so thrilled. I told hubby I want to live there. I told him yes I would pack and move again. Of course he wouldn’t. They have an indoor and outdoor pool. They have a place to hit golf balls. They have a pool table. I have to check if we have one. They have a court for volleyball. It’s just a wonderful brightly lit area. While hubby hit balls my friend showed me how to play pool. Then we went swimming. HEAVENLY! Finally we went out for supper. All in all a fun day!
I finished reading the third book in THE HUNGER SERIES. Now to choose another book.
Tomorrow will be busy also as I have to cut tons of potatoes and get the house ready for my grandson’s party. Two of them have colds so I hope they will feel ok. I wrote an email to my DIL and told her I could have the party on Sunday. I guess I’ll have to wait to hear from her.
Instead of swimming I will do the WII.
