STILL UNPACKING – ok

I am still unpacking. I have a huge pile of clothes on the treadmill in my room. I have a huge pile of magazines and books on my kitchen table. I have many bags loaded with everything in my guest room. I have huge piles of stuff everywhere. Slowly I am working on them and it will get done.
I made a chicken soup this morning. It is cooking now. I have friends coming for supper so soon will have to get things ready.
This morning we went for blood tests. Then we went out for breakfast and started to talk about finances. It is always depressing for me because hubby always makes it sound like we are spending too much. For me the truth is that having three homes is probably overextending ourselves but will we ever give up one of our homes?? I can only think of moving out of this home and maybe saving money this way.
I started to eat hard boiled eggs. I never use to. Now I am eating them with butter and salt! Probably it is better for my diet BUT bad for my heart. It is so frustrating.
My grandson needs an operation for his ear infections. It will be on May 2. Not sure what my role will be. I asked my son to tell me what he needs from me. Today is my grandson’s birthday. My son asked us to come to his home to celebrate with his wife, (not sure about her lover) but hubby said we shouldn’t go and I agreed. My son has him for the week so tonight is his. He is too "soft" or whatever to tell his wife anything. I don’t know how he’ll feel if his ex’s lover is there. That’s his problem. I think he should have told his ex that he didn’t want to celebrate with her and come here instead or at least do something else. I told my son to tell my grandson we will celebrate on Thursday when I have him anyways.
I thought we would make some changes in the house but hubby says we have too many expenses. I will change around my craft rooms but I guess I will wait until my son moves out at the beginning of June and my daughter goes back to school. Then the rooms are mine and if the kids want to come back I just might send them to my other son who is living alone in a big house.
Nothing planned for the weekend. We will go out for supper with friends tomorrow night. The weather is turning sunny and cool which is great.
I found some delicious lollypops at Walmart. They come in different flavours and are about 80 calories. they are called VERTIGO! I am going to have one now and then go prepare supper. Changed my mind I am not going to have one now. Maybe after supper. Just have to make a salad, matzo balls, maybe separate the soup, place chopped liver on a plate etc.
Have to call some friends. Guess I will while I prepare supper.

3 homes! I can understand 2 since you are snowbirds, but why do you have a 3rd one? Homes do zap a lot of money out of a budget!

Men. They always worry about finances until they decide to buy a $2500 television set or a new car!

It sounds to me like you’re rich or at least extremely well off! I think it’s important to acknowledge your abundance, appreciate it and enjoy it. It’s annoying to me when rich people act like they are poor! Seriously!

Why don’t you let me take care of the Florida home? Heeehehehe!!! Only if it’s chicks only and we can stay in bed and eat toast, and have a whole day without anyone whining. 😛
