STILL ‘RANGING

Over the past week I have made a lot of changes in the condo. Some probably won’t stay but I think they are ok for now and I had fun doing it. It’s the first time I cared about my house and its contents.
I made supper on Thursday night for my friends. I made an old fashioned supper which everyone enjoyed – some more than others. Last night we had the delicious leftovers. Then we played SEQUENCE. men against the women. The women started off strong but in the end lost.
Yesterday we drove to the trailer. We had lunch and went into town. I went to Walmart and Michaels. At Michaels I bought lots of paper for scrapbooking. I need to decide if I am going to make my hubby a scrapbook for his birthday at the end of September or a scrapbook for our anniversary in December. I also want to start our family scrapbook.
I sold my small accordion on Thursday. I got 160. I put twenty in my savings bottle and brought the rest here to have some fun. I really wanted to put the rest in my bank account and pay some bills but……………….. I think 160 was fair but most of the time I don’t know what to charge. I am thinking about selling my sewing machine as I haven’t been using it. On the other hand I might take it to Florida and use it there. I love selling things and making some extra money.
Not sure what we will do today. Of course hubby will have his Happy Hour at 4. My friend was suppose to drive out today but she has to have a tire repaired on her car so not sure if she will come. I hope so as I want to go into town and do some more shopping. I must get some clothes. I will go to JC Penneys.
One day I went to visit a friend at a geriatric hospital. At first it was very depressing. Then I realized how "wonderful" it was. There was a musical show put on by students. There was a lot of gardens to sit in. There were other people to talk to etc. I keep telling hubby that it would be a good place for us if one of us got too hard to handle at home. At least the sick one would get care. The other one would have company, help caring for the sick on etc.
I tried to use some coupons yesterday. I was so frustrated. Two out of three coupons weren’t good. That is I hadn’t bought the right things. One was for Walgreen. The other two I had to buy more of each. I’ll try for a little while but it was just too FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!
So now it’s time for a shower. Then who knows???????????

sounds like you are keeping busy, good for you!

In Canada, coupons are a rare thing to use because often they are not accepted. I read all the fine print prior to purchase. I can imagine that would be very frustrating. As for moving in, I feel like after five years, I still haven’t. It takes forever.

Perhaps more shopping? You should consider opening a store. You can buy and sell a lot more things then and you will be very good at it.

getting creative in a new home is fun. hugs P

Do you have a scrapbook store where you can meet with others and work on your scrapbooks together? We have several in my neck of the woods, although I don’t have the time to attend anything like that right now.
