STILL HAB MY COLD

My cold is still with me. They, whoever they is, say a cold lasts a week or seven days so I still have about four more days to go. I woke up very early. It’s only 5:40 so will probably try to go back to sleep. There is nothing pressing that I have to do today. I did call a friend and told her I would go shopping for a bathing suit with her but have changed my mind. I don’t feel well enough and this is one chance I have to stay home. Tomorrow morning I start my ART THROUGH MEDITATION course and Tuesday morning I have my stained glass. I will not go swimming until I feel better. Besides I hear that the water is freezing.
Tonight we are going out for supper with hubby’s sister. It was her hubby’s birthday so we are taking them out.
During the day I will do the washing, change the beds and relax. Hopefully I will finish the baby quilt I am working on and then start the scrapbook for my SIL. I really haven’t been working on my hobbies here.
Yesterday in the rain  and cold I went out with my friend who leaves tomorrow. We did some shopping and I mailed some stuff to my grandchildren. I was happy to be with her but more hapy to come home and take a quick nap. We went out for supper with friends even though we didn’t want to. The weather shouts, STAY IN!!!!! I would have but we haven’t been out with our friends for awhile and didn’t want to disappoint them. She did mention staying home but I know that she counts on eating out EVERY night. Her poor hubby! I am sure he would prefer to stay home many nights but she is driven.
A woman was killed here last week. Apparently a car missed his turn and backed up right over her. She was in her fifties. So tragic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Driving in Florida is dangerous. I guess walking too.
So time to try to get some more sleep although I don’t know why as I can nap anytime during the day but it’s still dark out and hubby is still in bed.

I was always told a cold takes 9 days…3 to really hit, 3 bad days, and 3 to recover properly. Get well soon, hugs p

Resting in bed and drinking lots of fluids are the best way to get over a cold but really it just has to run its course. Feel better soon!
