STILL DRIVING

I AM IN WILSON, NORTH CAROLINA.
I just woke up around six and debating if I should go back to sleep for awhile. It is early.  I guess it would be nice to get on the road early. It would also be great to crawl back into bed.
Yesterday I had a great driving and shopping day. The weather was sunny and cool.  I only woke up around nine. I rushed so I could get to a McDonalds before they stopped serving breakfast. I just love their hash browns.
I drove steadily as I wanted to reach the SAS outlet. I wasn’t sure where it was. Luckily I got to the store around five thirty. It closes at six. I tried on some shoes. The saleslady wanted to sell me size seven wide but they just weren’t comfortable. I ended up with a size 8 1/2. I bought a black and white pair. I am now set for a few years. Then  I drove to J& J. It’s a super duper large discount store. I bought some lipstick for a dollar or two, some dolls for ten and twelve fifty. I will give one to my granddaughter. I bought some hand lotion for a dollar to three, I bought some books for under five etc. etc. I also bought some sugar free candy. I was a very happy camper!!!!!!
Then I drove to Wilson. I wanted to have supper before I checked into the motel. I saw a sign for PIZZA so stopped by, It was their second day in business. I had supper while talking to the owner and reading my KINDLE. I am reading THE WHEEL OF TIME by Robert Jordan. Very good so far. It’s a very big book and about fifteen books in the series. I don’t know how far I’ll get because I usually get bored with a series and want to read something different.
Then I checked into this motel. TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t get online!!!! I thought there was wireless. I finally realized there wasn’t!!!!!! I tried connecting with an ethernet wire. No luck! I called down to the desk. The woman was alone so I went down to get another wire. NO LUCK! I called the company for help. NO LUCK!!!! I was so frustrated and getting angrier by the minute. I don’t know why motels have only one person at the desk and noone to help during the night. I would like to talk to the manager so may go back to bed so I will be here when he comes in around nine. I think they should have more staff at night. After all when do people come to motels??????????? If you’re driving then usually about five or six. I think they should have someone who knows technology and someone who can fix the toilet etc. Finally I changed rooms. So I had to pack everything up and move downstairs. I want this room for free. It took awhile to get online here too. I finally just went to sleep.
I also don’t understand why they take 149 off my account when the room is only about 90. OY!
So I think I’ll crawl back into bed. If I fall asleep so be it. Back sooner or later.
I crawled back into bed. It was delicious but I didn’t fall asleep so I’m up and raring to go at seven. I’m not taking a shower this morning. I usually do but the bathtub side is so high. I think I can go without a shower once in awhile. Besides I am travelling all alone.
I use to take all the free shampoo etc. but not anymore.
I’m getting dressed and leaving. I will write or call HAMPTON from the road or at home. Maybe I’ll try their 800 number.
I think I may be getting a cole. Will take extra Vitamin C today.
